I took a quick look at the first folder and then selected the second folder with a long name, that folder contained only the black FusionLauncher icon so I selected it and in the Logitech program it showed up as FusionLauncher.exe. In one of your replies above you directed me to C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\Autodesk\webdeploy\production\(long folder name), when I went to the production folder I found two folders with long names, the first has numerous folders and files. Your persistence made me take one last look at the problem and I have to put my hands up and apologise for wasting your time.

Their drivers are programmed to recognize Fusion 360 when it is running much like you describe your mouse and other CAD apps. Sorry about your struggles with it!įor example, 3D Connexion does this themselves. You should also report the problems with their drivers mis-handling Fusion shortcuts. It sounds like they have added other CAD apps so they should be receptive. I would encourage you to contact Logitech and ask them if they can add support for Fusion 360. The Logitech simply needs to send keyboard strokes to the right place.

You will need to reconnect Logitech to this every time there is an update until Logitech figures out how to configure their drivers to recognize Fusion like 3D Connexion drivers does. Point your Logitech to the Fusion360.exe in this location:Ĭ:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Local\Autodesk\webdeploy\production\(long folder name)
Fusion is unique in where it stores the actual exe. When I steer the program towards the exe file it is normally located in the program files folder, with Fusion 360 I have to steer the program to the start menu and then choose the fusionlauncher.exe.

I think it is also worth highlighting again that the pro edition has never frozen the orbit/pan function whereas the home edition has done it a couple of times, the pro edition has been used 90% of the time.Ĭould this have something to do with the issue? I forgot to mention that the laptop which is running the home edition of 10 somehow wiped out the shortcuts in the Logitech program a couple of times when I tried to use the buttons in Fusion 360, this has not happened on the tower which has 10 pro installed. In the program D would be assigned to a button and when pressed it should be the same as using the keyboard.īlender and a couple of CAD systems I run are not having any issues at the moment, all firmware and drivers are up to date with the last Logitech update being about 2 weeks ago. Your assumption is correct, it is a really simple system, the user points the program to the exe file and then chooses which button operates which shortcut.
